Licensed Psychotherapist in New York, Licensed Counselor in Alabama, Nationally Registered Board Certified Art Therapist, Art Therapy Credentialed Supervisor
About Me
My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, identity affirming and trauma-informed. I provide talk therapy, art therapy, and group therapy for adults and young adults dealing with life changes, anxiety, relationship issues, body image concerns, and identity exploration.
My practice is rooted in compassion and curiosity, valuing a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative and honest. Though each session is geared toward the individual’s needs, I tend to use art therapy, internal family systems, supportive therapy, somatic awareness and mindfulness as interventions.
I am licensed in New York State as Creative Art Therapist (LCAT) and licensed in Alabama State as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I am registered nationally with the Art Therapy Credentials Board as Board-Certified Creative Arts Therapist (ATR-BC) and an Art Therapy Credentialed Supervisor (ATCS). I earned my Master’s of Arts in Art Therapy from New York University and have experience working in treatment centers, schools, and private practice settings with a wide-range of populations. I also have ten years of experience as a fiber artist and sculptor, which greatly influences my work as an art psychotherapist and supervisor.
